WHAT IS DELTA ZETA?

Delta Zeta is an international collegiate sorority that was established at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1902. It was the first sorority to be founded on the male-dominated campus that had just allowed women to attend that same year. In only two weeks, six women bonded by friendship and shared values came together to lay down a foundation and legacy that now spans across over 200 chapters internationally with nearly 17,000 collegiate members at any given time.

Today, Delta Zeta empowers women to be lifelong learners and global citizens that lead and serve their communities and the world at large. The sorority advocates personal growth and development that is cultivated through relationships with alumnae and fellow women role models.

To be a premier women’s organization by creating an enriching environment which is essential for all, and empowering our members for life.

OUR MISSION & VISION

OUR CREED

“To the world,

 I promise temperance and insight and courage,

to crusade for justice,

to seek the truth and defend it always;

To those whom my life may touch in slight measure,

may I give graciously of what is mine;

To my friends,

understanding and appreciation;

To those closer ones,

love that is ever steadfast;

To my mind,

growth;

To myself,

faith that I may walk truly in the light of the Flame.”
