ACADEMICS
Theta Rho is proud to be recognized with the highest chapter GPA amongst all sororities at California State University Los Angeles. As lifelong learners, we prioritize higher learning and personal growth. Delta Zeta gives us the tools to succeed though individualized mentorship and advisement.
Each Theta Rho member must maintain a 2.7 GPA.
STUDY HOURS
First, we're students. Our Academic chair monitors academic performance and creates a unique academic plan for each sister's individual needs.
There's always someone to study with when you're in a sorority with several women! Sisters are encouraged to partake in study hour sessions each semester to stay on top of their grades.
The Delta Zeta Foundation
The Delta Zeta Foundation teaches our members the meaning of lifelong giving. The money donated to the foundation is used to fund enrichment programs and provide scholarships to our active members. Theta Rho donates to the foundation through the program called 1902 Loyalty Society, where we donate $19.02. In return for donating, we receive a dangle every year that we can add to our beautiful badge. Our chapter has had full involvement in the 1902 Loyalty Society for the past 5 years.
We like to encourage and award those who excel academically by praising our members with a smart cookie for "Smart Cookies" each week at chapter meetings, or even giving a certificate at our Rose Formal for big and little with the highest GPA.
